Evelyn Willis
Owner & Design Director
Evelyn was born and raised in Kentucky. After graduating from Centre College in 2021, she moved to Charleston and began working in the wedding and event industry. After working in the industry for three years, Evelyn discovered her passion for event rentals and Setting the Seam was born.
Hanna Hunkin
Owner & Design Director
Hanna was born and raised right here in Charleston, SC. After graduating from Presbyterian College she worked in education for 8 years. While working in Beaufort, she became great friends with the founder of WED where she discovered her love of events. While working in event industry, she met Evelyn and together they founded Setting the Seam.
Allie Zaubi
Creative Director & Seamstress
Allie has spent most her life in the Lowcountry as a College of Charleston alumni and Spanish professor. Her undergraduate degree in theater (‘01) first sparked her interest in sewing when she took her costuming class and has been using her seamstress skills for home design in the many houses she and her husband have bought and sold on the peninsula over the past 20 years. When she’s not teaching or renovating, she loves being with her family enjoying beautiful Charleston.
